#HKHeroes Continues to South Georgia Medical Center
Hudson King’s #HKHeroes campaign is carrying on and expanding in its efforts to thank area medical heroes for their dedication and service during the coronavirus pandemic.
On May 29, Hudson King partnered with Marcos Pizza to feed lunch to 95 staff at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.
Through #HKHeroes, Hudson King has partnered with local pizza restaurants to provide meals for over 500 medical workers, aka “Heroes,” throughout the region. The meal at South Georgia Medical Center was the fourth appreciation feast for frontline medical personnel. In April, Hudson King donated pizzas to critical care workers at Tift Regional Medical Center, and also fed doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Earlier in May, Hudson King provided pizza to staff at Pruitt-Health-Sylvester Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Hudson King will continue the #HKHeroes pizza-meal campaign. “We at Hudson King appreciate and value the continued efforts of the medical heroes who are working hard to serve patients and our community during the coronavirus pandemic,” said Partner J.L. King.
